QORA (Queensland Old Royalists Association) is a distinguished alumni organisation located in Queensland, Australia, dedicated to fostering connections among the Old Boys of the esteemed Alma Mater Royal College, Colombo 07.
Incorporated in Queensland, QORA warmly welcomes membership from all former students of Royal College Colombo, Sri Lanka who currently live in Queensland, Australia. By providing a platform for alumni to reconnect and engage, QORA plays a crucial role in preserving the shared history, traditions, and cherished memories associated with the Royal College.

"Dear Royalists,
It is with immense pride and gratitude that I pen this message as the recently appointed Principal of
our esteemed institution. In my short time here, I have witnessed the unwavering commitment and
support that our old boys, scattered across the globe, extend to Royal College.
I am particularly pleased to share news of the upcoming Queensland Old Royalists Association
(QORA) Annual Dinner Dance 2023 and the launch of the QORA website, both scheduled for this Saturday.
These events stand as testaments to the collective dedication of our alumni, fostering a strong connection
and shared pride in our alma mater.
I extend heartiest congratulations to QORA for their active role as an Old Boys Association. Your
continued contributions to various projects at Royal College have not gone unnoticed. In particular, the English language development project at the Royal College Hostel, currently funded by QORA, showcases
the tangible impact of your support on the educational environment of our students.
I express my sincere gratitude for the ongoing commitment to Royal College projects and initiatives.
The involvement of our alumni is crucial in maintaining and enhancing the standards that define our
institution.
To the dynamic members of QORA, I encourage you to consider this association not merely as a
connection to the past, but as a driving force for the future. Your experiences and expertise are invaluable
resources that can significantly contribute to the development of the college.
I extend my thanks to the dedicated committee, led by Nalaka Rajakaruna, and all the past
presidents and members who have tirelessly worked towards the betterment of Royal College. Your leadership and collective efforts are truly appreciated.
